I recently had the pleasure of visiting the newly built Acoya Shea Senior Living Center and speaking with Tanya Robertson. Touring local facilities and gathering information is a key part of our new senior concierge initiative, aimed at providing our clients with a wealth of resources.
Upon entering Acoya Shea, it’s impossible not to be impressed by the soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and modern, open feel that evokes the ambiance of a luxury home. Conveniently located near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, Acoya Shea offers independent living, personalized assisted living, and memory care services.
The monthly rate is determined by the size of the apartment and the level of care required. Apartments range in size from a 414 sq. ft. studio to a 1,178 sq. ft. two-bedroom unit. Prices are subject to change, so it’s advisable to discuss specific rates with a community assistant.
Community amenities include gourmet dining, underground parking, an activity room, fitness equipment, a game room, a swimming pool, a large-screen TV lounge, and much more. The activity calendar is packed with events designed to keep residents entertained and engaged. Mornings often begin at 8:30 AM with exercises like water aerobics, Tai Chi, stretch and balance, yoga, and cycle spin. Other activities include arts and crafts, bingo, trips, guest speakers, and live entertainment. The day winds down with creative happy hours, followed by a themed movie at 6:30 PM.
I was thoroughly impressed by the look, feel, and vibrant energy of this active senior living home in Scottsdale.
